Apricot x Plum hybrid CHERNY PRINCE

Interspecific hybrid between apricot and Siberian plum. Very valuable for its high frost hardness and very good resistance to fungal diseases.

Vigour: moderate
Blossom: cross-pollinate. Blooming flowers are resistant to mild frost. Other stone fruits (apricot, Siberian plum or plum) are required for better pollination.
Fruit: weight 40 - 60 g, oval. The color is dark purple to black. Stone small. Suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing.
Pulp: juicy, medium-firm, orange to red, freestone
Taste: harmonious, more sweet than sour
Harvest season: mid-August
Yield: medium-high, but regular, the first fruit bears in the 3rd - 4th year after planting
Disease resistance: resistant to fungal diseases
Frost resistance: completely frost hardy
Usage: due to its adaptability, the variety is particularly suitable for gardeners and for areas where apricots cannot be grown due to spring frosts. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
