Winter pear, which impresses with the very attractive appearance of the fruits, excellent taste and resistance to disease and frost.
Crossing: Holenická x Williams pear, Breeding station Těchobuzice, Czech Republic
Vigour: moderate, canopy narrow-pyramidal, semi-upright, airy and open
Blossom: the flowering period is mid-early. Cross-pollinate variety, for pollination requires another pear blooming at the same time. Variety is a good pollinator for other pears.
Fruits: medium-sized, average weight 130 – 150 g, regularly conical to typically pear-shaped. The peel is thin and smooth. The basic color is greenish-yellow, in consumption maturity the fruit is covered with a bright red cheek on almost the entire surface. To maintain optimal fruit size and quality, crop thinning is recommended. Pears are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
Pulp: white, soft, juicy, pleasantly aromatic
Taste: spicy, sweet, harmonious
Harvest season: early October, consumption maturity mid-November
Storage: can be stored in a natural storage until February, in refrigerator until March
Yield: high and regular, early yield onset, already in the 3rd - 4th year after planting
