Origin: a complex hybrid, the result of a Romanian-American collaboration at the Orchard Research and Development Station S.C.D.P. Constanta. Breeders: L. Hough, V. Cociu, Pr. Ionescu, Liana Dumitru, Marioara Trandafirescu. Released in 1992. Vigour: strong, canopy semi-upright. Bears fruit mostly on mixed branches, which are the most valuable. Requires fruit thinning. Blossom: self-fertile, blooms profusely in March and April Fruits: attractive, medium-sized, average weight 100 - 120 g, round and smooth. Ideal for direct consumption.
