Flat Donut Peach (Prunus persica) SATURN

Medium early white-fleshed flat peach with an excellent taste, resistant to leaf curl disease. Bear sweet, juicy fruits which do not only taste but are an attractive due to their donut shape. Suitable in private gardens. The fruits are ideal for direct consumption and, thanks to their original shape and sweet taste, are especially loved by children.

Origin: USA, in 1999 in Poland at the Institute for Pomology and Floristry Skierniewice was selected from the flat peaches as the best variety for our climatic conditions
Vigour: medium strong, canopy spreading
Blossom: self-fertile, pollinator is not necessary for producing a crop, late blossoming, mid until the end of March
Fruit: medium large, 120 - 140 g, flat donut fruits, stone very small
Fruit colour: white-yellow with predominantly purple-red blush
Pulp: creamy white, juicy, aromatic, freestone
Taste: excellent, in full maturity dessert, honey-sweet, aromatic
Harvest season: late July / early August
Yield: high, stable even in bad years
General disease resistance: resistant to leaf curl disease (Taphrina deformans), suitable for organic or no-spray culture
