Sharon is the marketing name for the Israeli-bred cultivar Triumph. Type PVA (Pollination Variant Astringent). Fruits can not be consumed directly from the tree after colouration, but only 2 weeks after harvest and store at room temperature when the fruits become soft and lose their bitter taste. This variety can be cultivated in all wine-growing regions.

Fruit: medium-sized, 140 - 180 g, flattened shape with a square cross-section, dark orange skin, yellow-orange flesh
Harvest season: late October
Yield: moderately high
Disease resistance: excellent, reliably resistant to pests and fungi diseases, chemical protection is not required
Frost resistance: down to -16°C, winter protection is recommended in the first two years after planting and at lower temperatures
