Early Ukrainian Plum. Valuable for its quality fruits with excellent dessert taste, high regular yields and frost resistance at the level of Siberian plums.

Crossing: American Plum Jefferson x Peach Plum Royal Rouge (Persikovaya), breeder L.I. Taranenko, Research Institute of Pomology UAAN, Doneck, 1951
Vigour: strong, dense canopy, requires regular pruning
Blossom: early, cross-pollinate, blooming flowers are resistant to mild frost
Fruits: large, weight 50 g, round, uniform. Crimson color with a delicate violet-grey tinge. Thanks to the excellent dessert taste, it is particularly suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into delicious quality compotes and for drying.
Pulp: dark yellow, juicy, freestone, medium-sized stone
Taste: very sweet dessert taste with the delicious spicy acidity and a pleasant aroma of plums
Harvest season: early, first half of July
Yield: high and regular, yield starts in the 3rd - 4th year after planting
Frost resistance: high
