American early to mid-early apricot variety characterized by excellent fruit quality, delicious taste and good storage. It is resistant to the plum pox virus PPV, has little sensitivity to moniliosis and is resistant to frost and pathogens. Due to its qualitative characteristics and high yields, it is successfully grown commercially in France. The variety is also suitable for peripheral apricot growing areas.

Origin: Lasgerdi Mashhad x NJA2, Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, breeder Dr. Leon F. Hough
Vigour: ealthily, reaches 3 m high, the canopy is round, moderately dense
Blossom: medium early, late March to early April, the variety is partially self-fertile
Fruits: attractively colored, flattened elongated shape, medium to large, average 60 g / 5 - 5.5 cm, smooth skin
Fruit color: bright orange basic color is mostly covered with a red blush
Pulp: orange, juicy, fruit texture firm, fruit quality very good, freestone
Taste: delicious, sweet, aromatic, highly valued
Harvest season: first half of July
Yield: high, yield onset in the 3rd - 4th year after planting
