Very popular plum in the Central Chernozem region of Russia. Very valuable for its fruit quality, high and regular yields and high frost resistance in wood and in flowering at the level of Siberian plums. The variety is particularly suitable for home gardeners due to its adaptability, high frost resistance and good taste characteristics.

Blossom: self-pollinated variety. Blooms medium-early, flowers are resistant to mild frost. Fruit: large, weight 45 - 80 g, round to slightly flattened, uniform. Basic color green, cover color dark purple, brownish-viole on the entire fruit surface when fully ripe. Skin smooth with sky-blue wax coating. The fruits are particularly suitable for fresh consumption, but also for processing into juices. Pulp: brownish-yellow, firm, soft and juicy when fully ripe, freestone, stone small. The proportion of stones to the fruit weight is only 2.9 %. Taste: pleasantly sweet with a fine acidity Harvest season: first half of August Yield: high and regular, on average 35 - 40 g, sometimes up to 60 g / adult tree. Yield starts in the 3rd - 4th year after planting. Disease resistance: high resistance to monilia, only low susceptibility to clasterosporosis in years favorable for its development Frost resistance: excellent, both wood and flower buds are completely frost hardy up to -34°C
