Sharon is the marketing name for the Israeli-bred cultivar Triumph. Type PVA (Pollination Variant Astringent). Fruits can not be consumed directly from the tree after colouration, but only 2 weeks after harvest and store at room temperature when the fruits become soft and lose their bitter taste. This variety can be cultivated in all wine-growing regions.
