German variety of large-fruited and fruitful sea buckthorn. Suitable for commercial cultivation but also in gardens.

Origin: Germany. breeder H.J. Albrecht, Berlin, 1990.
Plant type: female, fruiting
Vigour: very tall and wide-growing shrub, dense fruit set. The wood regenerates very well after the cut and bears plenty of fruit again after two years.
Bloosom: blooms from March to April, female flower, inconspicuous, yellowish, up to 3mm, dioecious
Thorns: moderately thorny
Fruits: large, elongated-oval, bright yellow-orange, 51 g / 100 fruits, very color stable and slightly hairy, relatively easy to pick, rich in vitamins
Active ingredients: total acidity 3.1 - 3.6%, vitamin C 149 - 289 mg / 100 g fresh mass, carotenes 11.8 - 17.7 mg / 100 g fresh mass, vitamin E 18.9 mg / 100 g fresh mass, total fat content 4.9 - 6.3%
Harvest season: medium late, second half of September
Yield: very productive variety. First larger yields from the 3rd year. Well regenerating, reliably fruiting top variety.
Soil: well drained, deep sandy-loamy soil, slightly acidic-neutral
Frost resistance: plants and flowers are completely frost hardy
