Plum (Prunus domestica) JUNA®

Thanks to the early ripening time, this variety is one of the first plums of the year and impresses with its aromatic taste and firm flesh. A full-bodied alternative to the traditional Herman variety.

Crossing: Katinka x Zwintschers Frühe
Vigour: medium strong with flat branches, easy to train
Blossom: medium early, not very sensitive to frost, the variety is self-fertile
Fruits: plum size 35 - 45 g, oblong, dark blue to slightly violet skin
Pulp: freestone, yellow-green to light yellow pulp, which is surprisingly firm even when fully ripe
Taste: full-bodied with a very pleasant sugar-acid ratio
Harvest season: very early, very even ripening
Yield: very early onset, high and regular
Special notes: heat-resistant, ideal for both fresh consumption and baking. A real alternative to the traditional early varieties, especially because of the excellent taste. Thinning out the fruiting yields larger fruit.
