Very early yellow-fleshed nectarine with excellent taste, high yields and undemanding growing conditions. Resistant to leaf curl disease and hardy to frost, disease and pests.

Origin: a complex hybrid, the result of a Romanian-American collaboration at the Orchard Research and Development Station S.C.D.P. Constanta. Breeders: L. Hough, V. Cociu, Pr. Ionescu, Liana Dumitru, Marioara Trandafirescu. Released in 1992.
Vigour: strong, canopy semi-upright. Bears fruit mostly on mixed branches, which are the most valuable. Requires fruit thinning.
Blossom: self-fertile, blooms profusely in March and April
Fruits: attractive, medium-sized, average weight 100 - 120 g, round and smooth. Ideal for direct consumption.
Fruit colour: the fruit is almost completely covered with an intense red-purple color
Pulp: yellow, but juicy, aromatic
Taste: excellent, refreshingly sweet, aromatic
Harvest season: very early, ripens between June 22nd and July 10th
Yeald: variety with high production potential, average yield 22 - 25 kg / tree
Disease resistance: variety is resistant to leaf curl disease (Taphrina deformans) and pests. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
Frost resistance: hardy
